Intensive Courses for Clients of Emploi
Québec
For a number of years, Académie
Linguistique Internationale (ALI) has been providing effective
language training for students receiving unemployment
benefits and who wish to increase their chances of finding
employment by improving their language skills. Given that
bilingualism (French / English) is a strong advantage
for reintegration into the Quebec job market, ALI has
designed intensive programs in both French and English,
which are consistent with all Emploi Québec (EQ)
requirements, and which cater to the specific needs of
EQ students. |
| An Emploi Québec accredited training
center, ALI offers a wide range of services to all prospective
students from Emploi Québec including: |

Free language evaluation prior to starting the course. |

30 hours per week of intensive
language instruction in a fun and interactive classroom
setting. |
|
A choice of several special interest courses at
the advanced levels (Business English, TOEIC, etc.) that
address vocabulary and competency essential to obtaining
work in today's competitive job market. |

Well-equipped classrooms, up-to-date computers,
audio and video equipment, and other valuable tools to
enhance each student's language learning experience. |

A special price for the EQ student's language training
at ALI. |

An assessment of the number of weeks required for
functionality (approximately one to six months, depending
on the student's language level at the time of the placement
test). |

Regular student progress evaluations for each level
during the entire period of study at ALI. |

Consistent follow-up with Emploi Québec agents
on marks and attendance. |
